July 5th MAX double tournament.

The upcoming K-1 WORLD MAX 2010 event is to be held on July 5th at the Yoyogi Stadium 1^st TOKYO, JAPAN. The biggest announcement is that the event will host not just part of the 70 kilo Final 16 elimination tourney, but is also to be the venue for the Japan Under 63-kilo Final Tournament.

The Max elimination is divided in two parts, the first part being held in Japan with 70 Kg contestants who will be vying to win a place in the Max finals and will include such challengers as Yoshihiro Sato, Hiroki Nakajima, Albert Kraus, Youichiro Jienotsu, Yuya Yamamoto, MMA star Andre Dida and Yuichiro Nagashima.

The second part of this tournament is scheduled for September with the possibility of being held in a European venue.
